Really? Well, this looks sort of interesting. Still not interested enough to consider a purchase though.

Even though what I've seen of the gameplay still gives me doubt about the game's quality (I haven't played the demo), I can at least appreciate a high definition rendering of Perfect Chaos.

I am really thinking about picking this game up...

I feel worried that the Sonic Cycle is going to bite me in the ass again. =P

I played the demo and it was like a hd version of an old sonic game. But now theres all this 3d stuff and I don't understand why there's two sonics or anything thats going on in these trailers.

Also what the hell happened to Sonic 4 Episode 2? Did they stop doing that?

As long as they call him Dr. Robotnik, I'll be satisfied.

Hmm I like Chaos and Shadow, didn't play enough of Sonic 2K6 to care about Silver although the fact I know his name is probably telling.

It seems they are literally throwing everything but the Werehog at this game.

I got an S rank on every level in Sonic Heroes, that must be almost as bad. I can not go back to that game anymore without hating it, but the part in another trailer where they flashed a version of the opening stage of Heroes actually made me a bit nostalgic for it.

Y'know in some respects I like Sonic as a character, but the thing they're doing where they just keep adding more and more "badass" angry looking rivals is so incredibly lame that I can't not hate it.

@ViciousAnchovy: The demo isn't all that great, but then again it was put out like right after E3 I believe. So there might of been some fine tuning along the way.

The only ones I'll admit to recognizing are Robotnik and Metal Sonic.

@RockmanBionics: Heroes wasn't all that bad. In fact it's one of my favorites in the franchise to be honest. . . . and there are no S ranks in Sonic Heroes, it was up to A at that point in time.

Considering I did everything you could do in that game, you'd mighta figured that I liked it at one point, it's just impossible for me to go back and enjoy it now. Too much crap to put up with. Really, the reason I even did enjoy myself the first time was a result of really well managed expectations.

Actually, now I think I see where you got confused. I wasn't saying that Heroes was almost as bad as Sonic 2006 (I've never played that one) I was saying that S-rank A-ranking everything in that game was almost as silly a thing to do as was playing Sonic 2006 for a hundred hours.

My hype went from 10/10 to -10/10, the idea of it going back to it's roots is what hyped me, these giant monster bosses are just stupid.

Also, two Sonics and two Tails's. But damn, if they would've shown two Robotniks, I'd preorder that shit today. That is the one big hope I have for that game.

There's no trailer that could come out that could possibly make me more excited for this game, just less excited. Which is what Sega is good at :/. Still though, cannot wait for this game.

Man, Sonic sure has changed since the Genesis days. The only rival that I saw in this that was truly "legendary" was Robot-Sonic
