My fantastical idea about getting hold of 16 atari lynx and play multiplayer locally still stands. Also you could bring either a new or an old handheld out on the streets, just grab someone and have like an old lady play a game. Great ideas huh? Also Actraiser looks like Demons Souls 2D.

I use the Gremlins rule. Is it "G"izmo or "J"izmo? One is a cute adorable Gremlin, the other is in the porn parody version. Sure, both have their pluses and minuses. Hard "G" for life. OG.

It makes me cringe when they put the plastic covers on top of the games while they are playing them. That ruins the shiny finish on the label on the cart.

P.S. That is some of the worst Actraiser playing I've ever seen. For shame.

Look, be that as it may, language evolves man. Americans took out all the "u"'s from a number of words because they made no sense! It's humor, not humour (c'mon now!). And ya know what? It's not "alumineeeeeeum", it's "aluminum". There's no reason for the extra "e" sound between the N and the UM. What about "herb"? Amercians say "Erb" because that makes sense. In Europe it's "hhhhherb" because, as Eddie Izzard says "there's an H in it". But I don't care!

And this is what I'd do if John Carmack himself walked into my office and said "look, dude. It's "Jib", not "Gib"". I'd look him in the eye and I'd say to him. "Step into my office, John... because you're fired! Take that rocketship to the moon baby because I won't have anyone sitting here telling me it's "G"ib. Bullshit I say!."

For me I'm less concerned with which is technically correct and more concerned with which is more commonly used and accepted. Saying "jiff" makes you sound like a loon since most people say "giff", in my personal opinion. "Correctness" be damned, it's "GIF" now whether the creators of the format like it or not.

Man, I wish I had Battle Tetris Gaiden. That game looks awesome.

I was never once tempted to upgrade to a paid membership by the happy hour, but the moment I found out about this, I upgraded. so yea, don't care about happy hour at all. free episodes were boring, but more stuff like this I'm game for.

With PAX this week Happy hour is not expected to happen. How ever someone may make somthing to fill the gap. Tested a few weeks ago had sole Happy hour.

Chiming in as a non-US subscriber; I prefer archived streams to live ones for the luxury of being able to pause. Doesn't bother me at all being in the wrong timezone.

I really agree with the dude who said the personalities are what makes this site worth coming back to. It's impressive how you managed to gather this many cool people in one room.
