Game looks like an awesome throwback to early Metroid's.
Officially excited for this title now!

Is this supposed to be the spiritual successor to Shadow Complex?

Seems to be a faster paced version of Metroid. Also, it seems to do things that Prime never could, like running really fast.

I'm not gonna lie, I prefer the art direction that Retro Studios had. On the other hand, the gameplay looks to be interesting, if not necessarily novel.

Shall be the first time ive played my Wii since Dead Space Extraction

Silly name of the game but looks rather good. Between this & Red Steel2, I've got a few Wii titles to go back & get when I get the Wii later on.

It's like Shadow Complex and Star Fox Adventures, except without the embarrassment of the latter.

Looks pretty good actually, but I can't wait for all the blubbering fans to say Metroid is ruined now.

This game looks weird, its like a whole new genre, like there are parts of it that look like the normal metroid style, but then they made it third person at the same time or something. It actually looks pretty cool. The one thing I'm concerned about though is the stupid N64 style plant-feet-and-aim thing thats going on in this game. It's like they needed to come up with something using the motion controls so that just threw that in there. Other than that though I'm excited to see how it turns out.

Aside from the dumb name, the game looks like a winner so far!

But dude, kudos to Team Ninja for giving Samus a voice. Just where did everyone get off saying Samus didn't speak? She narrated several of the 2D games and was quite talkative. Particularly Metroid Fusion...I like her look in this too. Hey, and I'm a fan of Ninja Gaiden, so...yeah, I hope this turns out well.

That looks really awesome.  Can't wait.

This game has pander to "hardcore" written all over it,  the kind that don't think a classic style Metroid is enough for them, the kind that want CG cutscenes and canned grapple finishers.
 the only parts I liked were when it looked a sidescroller instead of a top down brawler like the  Marvel Ultimate Alliance  games and ugh Too Human

Well, I guess.. I was seriously hating the no ponytail, animu Samus they showed in the last video. But this looks, well, maybe.

Looks cool, but basically everything about this is ruined for me just by knowing I'll have to control it with that crappy little D-pad.
 
EDIT: PS, I still can't believe they're actually releasing it outside of Japan with that name...

Hey. That looks pretty interesting.

I think it looks pretty good. I really enjoyed Prime and Corruption and after beating Cave Story I feel pretty good playing a Metoid game with the wii controller on its side.

very cool. It looks kind of weird though, like they jacked up the speed, makes it seem a little unnatural, but im excited none the less.

Game looks good but the controls look... clunky? Maybe awkward is the word I'm looking for. The way you hold the controller, almost like a racing game, looks awkward.

it looks cool, but I'm very very skeptical.  There's just so much that could go wrong in terms of story and controls and just game play in general.

This game is totally shadow complex but with a shitty controller.

Looks good, but I feel like I need to try it before I get super excited.  Like if the controls suck well the game will probably suck, for me at least, but if they do a phenomenal job with controls then I'll love it.  So basically I think the controls will either kill this game or make it one of the best Wii games.
