I liked Burnout Paradise just fine years ago, but honestly why bother when I have Forza Horizon 3? I guess I burned myself out on Burnout back then.

@astrophyle: Amen. Forza Horizon 3 is just amazing. Paradise at this point is just cashing in on nostalgia.

Alright, even though I'm not a fan of the game, I'll watch more burnout because it's GB.

Please play burnout takedown people who haven't see that game before would finally see why it is the best racing game ever made.

In Jeff opinion paradise is the best collect items with a car game, not a racing game.

I like Horizon 3 and Burnout Paradise. Don't tell anyone.

This remaster brought back a lot of great memories. I have wanted a sequel for a decade now, and I'm hoping this sells well enough to warrant one. Kill off Need for Speed already.

@astrophyle: yeah i dont really think they should make another burnout game. The crash stuff was the main selling point and as cool as it was back then...kinda a old school 00s thing like being amazed by tons of fighters in dynasty warriors or open world games. Time to move on to forza and hotwheels tracks lol. Plus like a bunch of games that peeked...i think a sequel would just be compared to paradise and leave people disappointed like just adding more of everything in shadows of war.

What's up with the night time being so dark? I don't remember that originally but Brads feed was ridiculously dark.

forza horizon is not even close to a substitute for burnout paradise or what an open world burnout could be if they made one today. pretty ignorant comparison.

Im pretty sure insane modern graphics/physics for crashes would be a good enough gimmick for one more burnout game....Or better yet, just a new racing game like burnout, who cares what it is called.

@wildaggro: It's missing the ridiculous crashes, but otherwise the framework is the same as far as open world racing goes (and imo much better handled by Horizon)

Yo that xbox is questionable!!!

One of the best parts of Burnout Paradise is the map. It's so expertly designed. You go through a gate, ramp off a thing and land and there is another line for you to hit. It makes you feel like your driving through a crazy pinball table. I've only played Horizon 2 but I never got that feeling of just driving as fast as I could as I tried to hit whatever was put in front of me next.

The game's super fun, spent a ton playing it on PS3, when this comes down in price on like a psn sale i'll definitely get it! Too many games right now haha. Glad girlfriend and other songs are still in too!

Getting so sick of all the Paradise coverage/love. It was overrated back then, and it's not fun to watch people play.

So tempted to dust off my OG Xbox to play some Takedown and Revenge.

I think Brad might be the slowest and most careful Burnout player I've ever seen.

I don't think it's overrated, but I agree it's not particularly interesting to watch.

I would kill for a Takedown remake, seems like such a no-brainer. It never even got a PC release.

it was cool to see jeff having fun with a game he digs, and clearly spent a bunch of time in. Like Dan's excitement with metal gear scanlon, or abby with 13DS, jason with monster hunter etc

This game seems to be encouraging reckless behaviour.

I gotta say I was hoping they'd try Fortnite together or more Sea of Thieves.
That said it's still nice to see this old/new game get some love.

I like that the compromise on the Girlfriend problem is to loop a different song. Also, that new internet seems good!

The combination of Brad's car choice and the darkness of his game at night made for some pretty rough moments.

Controversial opinion, I know, but: this game still rules and I'm happy to see more of it.

@racoonmousepad: Im aware of wreckfest, thats the new game from the bugbear people right? I dont have a pc though, otherwise I wouldve been all over that for sure :) BeamNG I definitely havent heard of.

Damn... I think it's time for me to get my second Criterion Elite license (i.e. Platinum Trophy) in this game. What a bummer, having to play my all-time favorite driving game again. :D

People keep saying he sounds grumpy but i dont really see it. Sounds like how he usually sounds. He even got more excited when he said this is a GOOD GAME. he loves this game. Unfortunate he still had to give it a 4/5 time does wonders to gameplay after sequels improve on features and streamline everything to extreme comfort. Having to choose missions instead of going through a quick session of a list.
