Looks really interesting but everything from sounds to graphical touches seems to be recycled from MW2. I think I'm going to buy BF3 new and rent this because I really want to know how the story ends.

I ordered MW3 before I did BF3. I gave in to the dumb EA garbage but I'm not going down so easy next time. That goes for COD and whatever Battlefield does. If COD really doesn't change things up for the future, then I may back off there, and if EA keeps up the nonsense, they're out too. There's still way too many games out there for me that can easily take my time instead of putting up with garbage.

How is having every perk and basically being a super-soldier balanced?

The music and sound effects are way too high in this video.

Love the support package. People should be rewarded for actually getting objectives done instead of being kill-hungry lone wolves.

I liked how Black Ops removed things from the multiplayer, it took the game back to a state where it wasn't about the constant explosions.

The lack of dual 87's was also great.

I fear this might make things less fun again.

I'll wait until I play the game for a bit before I get all up in arms about this, but every perk in the game for 8 kills/points/whatevers sounds like a bit much. We'll find out before long. I just hope if any major balance issues crop up they'll actually fix them in a timely manner instead of letting them go unchecked for months. They're implementing Treyarch's on-the-fly balancing system, meaning they can adjust a lot of stuff without pushing a patch through cert, so that's a good sign.

SHEEEEIIIIT these videos make the game look fun, but it never is.

I don't know what anyone else thinks but that ground drone with the LMG on it looks like it will be ridiculously annoying to deal with.

I un-ironically loved playing MW2 on PC (still play it to this day), and now that MW3's got servers I think this may seriously be my own personal GOTY. Here's hoping those servers translate to a nice, long-lived community.

Interesting. Still not sure if it's enough to make me want to play more Call of Duty. I'll wait for the reviews to see how it all shakes out.

So if all you need to do to get all the perks with a specialist is get an eight kill streak, why would you play as the other two options? I'm curious to see if this will balance well.

I really wish I had more interest in this. I guess it all kind of fell off with World at War for me. BLOPS was alright, now it just kind of feels like MADDEN 'XX...

Did anyone else have the sudden urge to get out your wrench and bang it on that sentry, every time you saw it?

i dont know about the whole "more balanced" tag line. i can see a clan of really good players exploiting the hell out of the new point system.

The specialist pack looks interesting, although I'm not entirely sure if having all the perks in the game would make you that powerful. I guess you would be silent, incredibly fast, deal extra damage, and have unlimited ammo, but a predator missile can still kill you if you're out in the open.

I'll probably roll with support, as I'm terrible at call of duty.

This looks like the FPS game to get this holiday.

Oh god, the sound. Why are they shooting with peas, don't they have bullets in the army anymore?

Just make CoD4 again and I'm all over it, right now this just feels just like MW2. Damn supersoldiers AND killstreaks together in the same match, no way this can be balanced.

I like that they are trying to diversify the system a bit. One of the reasons I love the BF style multiplayer is that you can be a support character and still help swing the game in your teams favor. The support package here might just fit my style of play.

God I hate that "pre-order now for Xbox 360" guy at the end. What a smarmy asshole!

I need to go look up all of the perks now because ... 8 kills giving you every perk? Not exactly setting the bar very high. They say it will be "more balance than ever before," but we'll see.
