Looks the same as mw2 and black ops

When I watched this I thought it was Battlefield 3 footage for some reason and thought that this had to be console footage because it looked so much worse. I was even more puzzled when I payed attention to the animation which has been such a high point of the previous Battlefield 3 footage. If you would mix this trailer with MW2 and/or Black Ops footage I don't think you could really know which was which.

I like how activision took the trailer down from youtube after having a ton of dislikes.

i'm just going to post the chat log I had with my friend while i was watching this:

Me: "Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer World Premiere" why is that even a thing? oh shit world premiere of fps multiplayer that you've seen a dozen times

Me: this video is fucking pathetic, this game looks like garbage, the textures are the same as they were in mw1

Me: nothing cool or interesting happening at all

Me: just stupid cinematic tricks like slow mo and explosions

Friend: it's a hollywood movie

I can't believe they are using the same engine. The color pallete for these games are starting to look really dated and just bad. It's so muted and "play dough" looking.

I can't even begin to imagine anything more boring that a COD gameplay expose.

I liked the music. Also,flies are confirmed, I heard them. Still don't feel ready to ever play MP.

I am going to lose so much time with this game..

At least these guys do decent animations, unlike CS:GO FFS.

This trailer looked like it was made by a 12 year old montage maker. 
 
And the game itself looks just like Modern Warfare 2. Almost identical.

On the one hand, it's easy to knock this game for being essentially the 4th call of duty 4 expansion, but on the other hand the majority of the audience who will buy this probably don't want it to change. I don't like this franchise very much any more but when it's breaking records year on year then it's hard to blame them for putting so little originality into it.

Yup, it's a Call of Duty game.

Don't get me wrong, I like the frenetic action of COD multiplayer, but they really need to do a serious overhaul of their graphics/physics engine. It's starting to go from looking ok to looking downright bad. Won't be getting this any time soon, too many other games to buy.

Couldn't look more dull to me.

I'd rather see REAL gameplay footage. I want to see what I'll be playing, not some over dramatic thing that seems more like a fan made video.

That looks an awful lot like a Call Of Duty game.

Don't get me wrong, I liked MW2, but this looks pretty samey and that engine is really showing it's age now.

I'll pick up MW3 for the campaign and Spec Ops mode, but I'm not seeing a good reason to switch from Black Ops multiplayer to this when I'm in the mood for some CoD. I guess it doesn't matter anyway, because even if it looked way better than Black Ops, Battlefield 3 is going to be my go-to modern FPS of choice.

Looks good. I'm excited for the return of the co op missions. And more than 2 fun weapons. Stupid Black Ops.
