Patrick, this is insane! It's so crazy to see a younger you. These videos brought back so many memories for me. Playing DDR with my friends and cousin. Those were the days. Patrick, you are very fortunate to have these videos, Some say that journals are worth more than gold. And in our day, journals are recorded on camera. With a journal you can look back on who you were, what you've done, where you've been, what you've learned, and the good and bad times. Just watching a younger Patrick play video games bring back my own nostalgia. Thanks Scoops, this was a real treat!

However, some feedback (and I say all this in a kind way, as though I were a friend putting his arm around you): Patrick, less talky, more showy! I know you didn't have a lot of videos to show, but still. If you're ever doing another video where you are showing real life footage, please get to the point. I found myself skipping ahead to find the camera footage sections. Yes, some setup and discussion is okay, but please keep it brief. Other than that, awesome stuff man! I loved it! If you ever do a part 2, just remember: a little setup is all that's required.

That was pretty crazy. Color me impressed Tricky. I was not even close to that level of coordination when it came to rhythm games of that time frame. Never had the means to invest in the home versions of those nutty peripherals. Also that you're willing to archive your younger visage onto the internet takes a lot of gall. Respect.

This brought back memories. I used to manage an arcade and we had DDR as well as Para Para Paradise. Was a blast playing these games as they were not very well known at the time.

I commend your bravery. I wouldn't do it but as with all things it's not nearly as embarrassing as you think. We were all 14 with too much time on our hands.

these were great! i was super into DDR back in the day. my cousins and i used to go to arcades in Vegas and we would draw a crowd around us because people were just fascinated with the game! man, those were the good 'ol days :)
