Me too. I know there's a lot of stuff out of GBEast's control as far as their studio setup, but I really miss seeing on-screen Vinny. Quick Looks can only sustain me for so long.

@rukus: Yeah some light UPF style content with Alex and Vinny would be amazing. Whenever I watch the quick looks I am just imagining Vinny looking at Alex with a stupid grin on his face as he cracks a terrible joke, then Alex rolling his eyes but being unable to avoid cracking a smile.

I woke up one day when I was 23 or so, and realised the front of my long hair was super-thin. Suddenly realised I was destined for baldness. So I ran my trimmer through it, number 4. My head is shaped weird so I can't do a very good job at that length on my own. Also, I can't actually go much shorter because I have big prominent ears, and light blonde eyebrows, so from a distance I already look like Gollum with a beard. It's awful.

For those blessed with handsome skulls, this is a fine look.

As someone whose been thinking about shaving his head recently, this sort of scared me for some reason. Looks pretty good on Ryckert though.

I paid $55 (I don't since when they supposedly went up to $80, but they're still $55, now. Fake sale price?) and they've lasted quite a while. They're a notch below the $200+ professional grade which is wildly unnecessary for personal use. Also, from the research I did when looking for good, reliable clippers, I would avoid Wahl clippers. As I recall their quality seemed to vary wildly from product to product. Some models are great and others are the worst out there you can buy. Be sure and really research that particular model of Wahl clippers before buying.

@machofantastico: Shaving your head isn't bad, I started doing it at 16 when I realised I was losing my hair. It saves time on drying your hair etc.

I'd totally shave my hair off if I didn't have such an odd shaped head.

Vinny the barber Beefcake

My dad's already 70 and still has thick hair. My mom also has really thick hair, so I've double the thickness genes - worst part is that my head sweats like crazy if I don't go to the barber like every month to get it thinned and cut shorter.

But since I look really weird with a buzzcut (had to shave for my mandatory stint in the army), I would look ever weirder bald - so I'm quite happy those particular genes that I've inherited.

The thing that surprised me most after I first started shaving my head was how much more I hit my head on stuff. I never realized how much of a subconscious warning even short hair gives you in letting you know how close your head is to stuff.

The Papa Vinny franchise just keeps expanding!

My question is how the hell has Dan never been in a fight? As often as he's drunk I'm amazed he's not stumbled into some elaborate misunderstanding that ended in him bloodied.

I guess there's still time.

I use an electric face razor on my head to get that baby-ass-smooth bald head and it's pretty rad. Been doing it since high school, so . . . 14 years at least?

If that thumbnail proves anything, it's that Dan Ryckert is mere moments away from a convincing hipster haircut at any given time.

I love this website.

I get my hair cut about every 3 to 4 months. It costs 15.00 each time. Not a big expense and it does look better than the few times I have tried to do it myself. Some people can rock the bald/super short look but I'm not one of them.

You guys are great, don't ever stop.
