Gj Patrick! I think it would have been easier if you used the class abilities more often I think. Paladin's block for example since you use that class a lot. I actually beat this boss twice using Assassin, and just mist form'ed out of the flying knives.

And downwards poke him from above when he goes to the middle and fills up the stage with swords. You get some easy free hits that way.

Patrick is actually way better at this game than I am, but I didn't have as much of a problem with the final boss due to having better stats. Gotta make a lot of gold runs.

I've heard about this game, but I have no idea what it's about (story and gameplay) so I guess this video should be interesting. Still hoping to see Patrick start his Dark Souls soon.

Nice vid Patrick. Congratulations on your victory. Looking forward to finally getting into this game myself. Had to finish the Borderlands 2 DLC before getting distracted by another game.

I finally beat blobulous (Dragon Knight == SUPER EASY) and decided 'what the hey lets check out the final boss' and beat him on my first try with an Arch Mage that was firing daggers out of his butt.

Nice to see this. I'm still trying to get the motivation to finish this game but I can't just muster it.

It's time to play Dark Souls, Patrick.

I just finished the new game +3 last night. The bosses go from being pretty easy to the easiest parts of the castle in the new game pluses. I kept playing to finish the achievements having no idea that the dragon class was hidden a bit. Now that's I've gotten that I'm probably ready to put the game to rest.

Rogue Legacy looks great. I'm definitely going to pick it up once I have a functioning gaming PC again!

Oh yeah! It's been a while since I've watched Naruto, a lot of those pronunciations have escaped me.

I thought I was really bad at this game, but when I beat the final boss, I saw the my child count had been only 90-something. I felt pretty good about that.

Yeah. This game sort of beat Double Fine's next game to the punch. Still, DF's is more or a tactical game instead of an action RPG. I fine this one more appealing though. Definite buy.

This is like an easy-mode Megaman Zero. Play more Megaman Zero.

All three times I have fought the final boss I just mashed the shit out of him with absolutely no strategy, but I did do a lot of runs just to upgrade my character.

You beat him surprisingly quick. I thought this was gonna be 30 plus minutes of you banging your head against a wall until you finally got it.

Wow, I'm way higher level (i.e. more upgrades in my castle) and I haven't even beaten the third boss yet (the tower). This is weird, I usually consider myself pretty good at this type of game, I've beaten all the Megaman Zeroes, IWBTG, N+, Super Meat Boy, also games like Ninja Gaiden Black and DMC 3. I think I might have spread myself too thin on the stats.

I like Rogue Legacy, but it gets way too grindy in the middle

after 30 hours of playing, i'm proud to say that i have every upgrade in the game and all of the achievements. ugh. was a lot of fun but also a tad to grind-heavy.

Why isn't he using the class skills? Paladin shield or Barbarian shout makes this battle sooooo much easier.

I've been through the game three times and have never used any of that stuff. I didn't even know about the dragon class until this video.

I always relied on magic more than the class skills...I'd use the class skills inappropriately and use all my MP. By the end of the game, I'd just forgotten about them.

Hey is there a PC release on this game? Despite watching Patrick getting hammered by the last boss, it looks like a ton a of fun.
