Still being at Ape Escape, I'm going to guess those twitter suggestions are going to be some bullshit visual novels/Pony Island type games, that can be fun with the right people, but won't be so with Paul. I'll hopefully be proven wrong!

@amyggen: I am semi serious about it. It is obvious that can't tell Dan how to live or be. But manners are something that has helped me as someone from working class family in social and in work situations being treated with respect. merely advice I am not trying hate on Dan at all.

@simkas: In UK other cultures it is commonly seen as being rude to point at people or objects. but there are whole websites devoted to subject of point etiquette.

I think that it is rude to point (at seomeone) in some countries (at least in the Netherlands it is, although putting that in Dutch in google shows an article of some research about pointing not being rude).

That being said: Dan is the master pointer.

Pointing at someone is considered rude in North America. When I was a kid, my mom used to slap my finger with the wooden spoon when I'd point at someone around her.

It's up there with snapping to get a waiters attention.

I'm assuming they'll play EDF based on that description. And if Paul dislikes EDF, I'll lose faith in America.

Pointing at objects with your index finger is unacceptable in some cultures. In America and European cultures, it is considered rude topoint fingers at others. This hand gesture is an indication of a dominant - to - subordinate behavior in the professional world.

Obviously rudeness depends on your upbringing and culture. Elbows on the table is likely seen as acceptable in most places, but with my WASP-y upbringing it got me yelled at.

Just want to point out (heh) that Dan has his feet on the table the entire time and is burping with a microphone on.

Pointing being rude just seems completely baffling to me. How the hell else are you supposed to show that you're talking about a specific object or person or whatever? Just go "that thing" and kinda awkwardly nod towards it?
