The only thing in that video that would be illegal in the UFC was the headbutt...and technically that is a grey area i believe, they still do a lot of offense with their head.

I don't see the point in this game, if I want to play an MMA fighting game I want to play with real fighters I know.

This game looks like a fun renter to play with buddies over a weekend while drinking beer and beating the shit out of one another.

How is this game not out yet? They had release ads for this in Official US Playstation Magazine months ago. This thing is "Bionic Commando-ing" itself; anyone following this thing is probably gonna forget it when it finally comes out.
 
But then, I'm also biased against this thing. For a studio called Kung Fu Factory, they wanted their first game to be ....off brand UFC? What retards. Make a new fighting game universe. Every other fighting game we have is up to the 4th, 5th or 6th iteration. Mortal Kombat is the 9th MK game! Make something new; you had a chance to make a great universe and make something with original characters and great style. Instead, they make this ugly, forgettable, "gritty", dumb looking MMA game. Ugh. I hate it when western developers opt to make "gritty" and "realistic" games over trying to do anything aesthetically exciting. Or even colorful, for that matter. But I suppose that's what this generation is all about....  
 
I wouldn't be sad if this doesn't sell well.
 
At least Skullgirls is coming out this year, to counterbalance this turd on the gaming radar.

This is going to fail harder than the EA MMA game, you can't compete with UFC, just like all these bullshit football games like backbreaker will NEVER be able to compete with madden.

I'm a little surprised by the vitriol this game is receiving. I realise that it isn't real life style MMA but we already have those game coming down the pipe line. I hope that this is going to scratch that Def Jam: Fight For NY itch. That last Def Jam game sucked SO bad. This can't possible be as bad as that game. Cautiously optimistic on this one.

Well they look like they are having fun.

Played the game and is easily my favorite fighting game this year. Gameplay is very fluid and every character has their own sick moves. Had some NASTY KO 's playing with my homies, all honestly this game is far better than i thought it would be. Havn't stopped playing it since i got it, doing the story mode right now. and loving it. Easily recommend it to anyone who loves streetfighter/mortal kombat and MMA..

Hardcore and brutal are in all honestly, fucking understatements. This game is intense. The career mode is awesome, the audio and in game effects are considerably brilliant as well as the character dialogue. The fighters all possess their own aggressive attitudes and fighting styles. Character, cage, and environment details are purely flawless .

Supremacy MMA aspires to be the best MMA game available and I STRONGLY believe it lives up to that title. 5/5

I’m not sure why people are hating on this game. I recently got the chance to try it out and was blown away by how much fun I was having. It can be an easy game to pick up and play or it can also be a game you sit down and dedicated a lot of hours to just to get extremely advance and skilled at it. I really recommend it, possibly a 5/5 on my scale.

In no way is this game average. The Strengths of Supremacy MMA substantially outweigh the negatives, if you could find any. Strikes, takedowns, and ground submissions are as slick as they come. The game mechanics and graphics are highly innovative and the details in the character damage is raw and uncut sophistication.
