The Wii logo at the end was a big clue... But I agree, the graphics looked quite nice.

Everyone who thinks this is third person you are wrong, that's just your partner on the side of the screen. It's still a first person rails shooter, it just depends on who you're playing as.

The rumor that capcom was making an RE2 remake for the wii with the RE4 engine is only half true. Instead we get umbrella chronicles 2, which is bad. DID WE REALLY NEED ANOTHER LIGHT GUN GAME?!?!?

So this is basically an arcade version of Resident Evil 2. As an arcade lover I can't hate that. Still, I'm so glad I didn't get a Gamecube 1.5 A.K.A The Nintendo Wii.

Standard Rail Shooter except Partner is visible on screen. The camera is running while you are still allowed to shoot. You could move and shoot in RE: UC

It's another FPS RE game for the Wii... sigh. At least Claire and Leon kick ass, though.

So, wait, they are moving AND shooting? Well, it looks really shaky and disorienting so maybe they are trying to tell people that RE should never have run and gun, lol. I hope the game isn't bad though. Umbrella Chronicles really surprised me, actually.

I was thinking this might be kinda cool but it looks all they did was port RE2 to the Wii and turn it into a on rails shooter.  I am very confused by this.

Looks fun although the trailer makes it confusing what perspective it is. Maybe the perspective changes?

could be good, its still in production so theres room for polish.

Light gun games can be fun, but I don't value them above $30 ever.  Not even for the Resident Evil name.  Still haven't gotten around to playing any of the rail shooters for Wii yet.

Why is everyone calling this a port? A port would mean that they took RE2, game play, graphics, and all, and brought it straight over to the Wii. This is a wiimake. Yes, I will argue semantics.
