I like the voice, i feel like there is something behind the tone being so flat, a story to it. I kinda wanna know what it is if it exists at all.

Yeah. Total generic cold anime female protagonist with identity problems. Also they skipped over Metroid Prime in the timeline.

Also, what the hell do you want out of the voice? Her to be peppy and cheery? Or still silent. Maybe silence is the better option, but if it's between bubbly annoying girl or dour somber girl, I'd go with the somber lady.

This video is awesome, I love how it retells the backstory.  More games should do that.

Really just makes me want to play Super Metroid again.  Man that game was awesome.  Still not sure if Other M will be good or if it'll be another Hunters.

Edit: I swear, it sounds like someone just typed a script and had it read from my Macbook's computer-ass voice.

I thought this would be the worst video ever, but I'm disappointed because it's too long and boring to watch just for bad voice overs. Still though, definitely going to skip this game, I couldn't care less how it rates, because the emphasis on story and other characters sounds straight up like the worst thing that could happen to metroid.

The female character who is strong but emotionally stunted is one of the most lazy and reprehensible cliches and it's particularly grating that they've taken that characterization and bolted it onto Samus Aran while at the same time giving her the voice and body of a pubescent girl.

That was a really nice recap, especially since the only Metroid I am even remotely familiar with is Super Metroid.
