"Emagon" was totally the name of a mage character I came up with when I was younger. Coincidence? Or is Sony reading my mind?

That looks awfully pretty. I wonder what game it'll end up being. Also, the narrator is basically saying that you as the player will have real consequences for your actions in the game. "The power to change things is in your hands," he says. Interesting.

The Spanish in the trailer is just a bunch of stereotypical action adventure movie trailer garbage you. (Explore the wonders, makes you sound like a god or deity type, adventure, that kind of mumbo jumbo.) Makes it sound like an open world game with the way it frames things. I am not gonna bother translating it but that is pretty much the jist.

Not sure what the voiceover is saying. But it looks like an open world sandbox adventure game (set in 'discovering america' period?)

But man, this looks pretty.

A reference to 20 years? Emagon being an anagram of "game on"? My money is on this being a teaser for something else that will be revealed at the Playstation Experience 20th anniversary thing.

The first Wild Arms was released in 1996, while Arc The Lad was in 1995. Maybe it's for one of these franchises' reboot or sequel ? The "real consequences" bit hints at an RPG.

There was a video a while back of a tech demo using the move and morpheus that this looks like it's the result of. They where using the move to control hands in the demo letting you pick up things in the world.

That's the first thing that came into my mind. The compass, minimalist HUD, different icons on the radar, open environment. I would honestly love a game focusing on exploration in that way done by a larger studio with more money.

Yes Sony, I really believe that's actually gameplay. Just slap a UI on it, we're all convinced.

Looks nice, I'm intrigued. From the VO it sounds like it might be an adventure/puzzle type game.

"Emagon" is "no game" backwards. Sony is making Emagon. "Yensid" is "Disney" backwards. Disney doesn't make games. No games make Jack a dull boy. Jack in the Box -- Sony's box! The PS4. PS4 has three letters; 3 + 4 = 7. Final Fantasy 7 was the best-selling Final Fantasy. "Final Fantasy" is an example of alliteration. "Danny DeVito" is alliteration. Danny DeVito starred in the 1996 film "Matilda," which -- coincidence? -- is not a game. PS4 exclusive Matilda reboot confirmed.

Whatever this is it looks really cool as far as the art goes. And hey, if that's what they're aiming for the gameplay to look like then at least they're ambitious if not realistic. Who knows, this could be something new and really interesting.
