Spy Hunter Reboot Bringing Automotive Carnage to the 3DS and Vita

That Peter Gunn theme never gets old. Though I always preferred the Art of Noise version, myself.

For a brief second I thought this was some sort of remake of Spy Fiction. Needless to say I was disappointed.

This looks really... Terrible. Am I the only one that liked the PS2 version? Not the one with the Rock (because there was supposed to be a Spy Hunter movie, and hahaha that never happened), which I'm not sure was actually released.

Of all the franchises to be turned into eternal shovelware, I guess Spy Hunter is the most logical.

Anyone want to bet that the arcade version is still going to be more fun? Anyone? No? Okay then.

Glad Warner Bros. is being respectful to midway's old arcade catalog. I can't wait to see what they do with stuff like Gauntlet, Joust and Defender when/if they get around to rebooting those franchises in the future. TT Fusion looks like they've been paying a lot of attention to the excellent, first, PS2 Spy Hunter game, and that's great. I'll probably pick this up for 3DS.

Of the modern consoles/handhelds, PSVita has to have the greatest desparity in how good/bad games can look. You get games like Spy Hunter and CoD (yes I'm trolling that shameful game), which look like they could've been done on a DS or early early PS2 era, then you turn around and there's games like Uncharted and Sly which are pretty much equivalent to their PS3 versions. PSVita looks like it's starting to come around a little bit now, after a depressing 6 months of owning it. Pretty excited for Most Wanted now knowing that it's being ported by Criterion and their goal is to match the PS3 version.
