Might be all in good fun... but they are laughing at him and the situation he's in.
It's not funny to me... it's sad.
Alex should have stayed with the crew.
I would bet my life he was offered a position at Giant Bomb...
but he turned it down to go fuck with plastic instruments...

Watching the GB crew commentate on the difficulties of hosting a shopping channel pitch while Alex Navarro appears on actual TV is kind of surreal, and fantastic. This is my favorite GB video since the Let's Tap box testing

I just thought of a great idea for Harmonix. For the next Rock Band game, they should include the QVC panel as a stage. What's more rock 'n roll than shilling out to stay-at-home soccer moms with disposable incomes. Oh, and one of new ways to boost your multiplier could be nailing a sequence and going into rock star mode in unison to the shameless pitch voice-over. Yeah, that ought to move product. Ca-ching$$

i find really frustrating when people who dont know anything about games advertise or talk about games. is it just me or is any1 else like this?

Why are you guys all hating on Alex for being on QVC?
 
He isn't a sell-out; he just works for a game company and he absolutely loves the rockband games. He probably still feels like he has the best job ever and I doubt he wishes he stayed reviewing and playing crappy games all day long. If I were Alex I'd be pretty happy getting paid to play the drums and occassionally do some PR / admin work on the forums. Pretty sweet life if ya ask me.
 
Also do remember this is a website; Brad was probably working on something and was just too busy; I know GB often looks more like a funhouse than a work office but they are still average people coming to work day-in/ day-out with deadlines to meet etc. So just assume he was busy at the time and needed to finish whatever he was doing.
