The volume seems incredibly low. I've got my system volume maxed and can barely hear them. Outlook notifications blow my eardrums out as a result.

Yes.

@chiablo: You might wanna double check the Volume Mixer in your sound settings to make sure your browsers volume isn't turned down. Also, you can turn down system sounds so the notifications don't blow out your ears.

Note for Patrick: You cannot play Slender with a Quick Look "gotta have fast action" mentality. You cannot. The easiest way to find stuff in Slender is to walk forward, not change directions every two seconds because then you really will just be walking in circles in a little area of the map. If you just walk forward, eventually you will find something, even if it is just a wall, but even then, at least you know you're on the outside edge of the map. If you're just running around, frantically changing directions and trying to find stuff to make sure people aren't getting bored watching you, you will never find anything and it will be boring and you will only get more desperate for something to happen which will only make it harder to find things. Just take it slowly and play the same as you would if you were at home by yourself and it'll be plenty entertaining enough.

this is why I can't play horror games. I feel anxiety and fear rising every time patrick starts running , and more importantly, lowering the flashlight beam. and I'm not even the one playing.

I"ve come to the conclusion that Brad is cautiously reckless and recklessly cautious when he's playing. But his #teambrading cleansed this from him!

I more have the problem where I hate the concessions I have to make to the game. Such as lowering my flashlight to run. I wouldn't ever do that in real life, so why does the game make me choose between "fast" and "able to see"?

Even if you weren't holding a flashlight, no one holds their arms stiffly straight downwards while they run. There's a swinging motion going on.

Though trying to model that would probably just give people motion sickness...
