The colour/style of the room reminds me of 90's adventure games. Not really sure why.

This looks like the Von Braun and Rapture had a baby. To which I say YES!

TAKE ME TO SPACE, STEVE GAYNOR AND COMPANY. I wonder if they've increased in team size? Gone Home was made by basically 4 people, plus some contract work, I believe.

It's strange to see them go back to a BioShock-esque environment after Gone Home, but I'm still really excited to see what the deal is with this.

I liked Gone Home as a house exploration simulator and I like piecing together stories from the past, but the plot point was something that was absolutely uninteresting to me. That being said, I'm still looking forward to this because if it's a similar type of game, it'll probably be another relaxing ride.

I'm glad they used Chris Remo as composer for this, hopefully they stick with him for the full game also, his contribution to Gone Home was fantastic. He's got slightly weird musical sensibilities that I think makes for really cool game music.

So this is in space and I'd near guarantee a heavy narrative focus, the big question is whether this is going to be in the style of GH or whether it will be more mechanics heavy. Will this make all the "not a game" minded people rethink Fullbright or will it cement them as the poster children for so called walking simulators?

Also Patrick, they renamed themselves just Fullbright a while back even though The Fullbright Company is clearly a superior name.

After this game comes out a bunch of people are going to head south of Seattle looking for Tacoma, and find it much different than they had imagined.

Using real companies that are aspiring to privatized space travel is interesting. Wonder how Virgin and Tesla will feel about it.

I didn't love Gone Home, it was okay, but this looks cool, alongside that other sci-fi game they showed, where the person was floating through the space station and space.

I really enjoyed Gone Home. The story was good but the thing that grabbed me was the voyeurism of exploring a family’s house. Searching through their possessions, drawings, notes, etc., to learn more about what felt like real people that could come home at any minute is what kept me exploring. It felt like a real family's private space. As someone who doesn't generally like that sort of game but loves sci fi I'm left thinking this looks cool, but I wonder if it will pull me in with such a cold, corporate, impersonal setting.

I usually like my sci fi with a heavy dose of mechanics driven gameplay.

From what i've heard the aroma of tacoma has not been a thing since the paper mills closed down a few years ago. Must be because they were making this space colony.

I loved Gone Home and am excited about this, but why are objects floating in zero gravity when the player is clearly walking on the floor?

It looks like a room lifted straight out of Starship Titanic. I'm digging it.

Huh. I was thinking the same thing and I barely played that game. I really really hope this is Gone Home is space.

That's a weak font, but I'm excited none the less. Definitely more reminiscent of a Bioshockian enviornment than their last effort.

A game named after the city I lived in for 6 years. I kind of have to buy it,right? I should probably get around to playing gone home too.

I am one of those who thought Gone Home was very overrated. I'm all for story-heavy games but I prefer ones that tell their story through actual game play mechanics like Papers, Please or This War of Mine, rather than just walking around and picking things up until the next audio log is triggered. Also, the stories in those games are nearly as cliché as Gone Home's. That's just my taste though. Still, anything in space interests me. I'll definitely keep my eye on this as more details emerge.

The art style of that room actually reminds me a lot of Douglas Adams' Starship Titanic. Lots of shiny surfaces. Loved Gone Home so it'll be interesting what story they can do with a more fantastical setting.

P.S. Ah, others notice the Starship Titanic similarlies.

I would be a liar if I said I did not love the look of this game--y'all have already made the Starship Titanic references, so I'll leave that be. The music sounds great and I am all about exploring a lunar base.

As a western Washingtonian I can tell you Tacoma is still planted firmly on the earth. The glass museum does look like some sort of giant beam cannon, though.

my new most anticipated game, along with firewatch prolly. still don't understand the "not a game" argument, in a time where a whole bunch of games are full of cutscenes and scripted events that take control away from the player, gone home gave complete control making it one of the Most Games i've probably ever played. it's only not a game if you define it within the terms of what other games are now

TAKE ME TO SPACE, STEVE GAYNOR AND COMPANY. I wonder if they've increased in team size? Gone Home was made by basically 4 people, plus some contract work, I believe.

they did!

@posh: Damn good point.

Wow, Samantha REALLY wanted to go where she couldn't be found, huh? Even though this is just a concept right now, I'm very interested. Space creeps me the Hell out. Hope they go for the same unsettling, oppressive feeling Gone Home had.
