I feel bad for any super hero game that isn't Arkham City this year. If you want to compete don't come with this mediocre bullshit.

I fear this trailer is going to make me belive this game is better than it is going to be.

@buft: Eh, they were doing that in Web of Shadows which I thought was one of the better attempts of a decent Spider-man game.

@RE_Player92: Yeah, the more I see of it the more re-hash and uninspired nonsense that made me barely able to finish shattered dimensions.

I think there's a lot of potential for a Spiderman game, but this just comes across as the same thing they've done for the past 5 years. I think they need to focus on 2 concepts to make a game with Spiderman work: 1) give the player the space and freedom to web swing 2) make the character acrobatic and allow him to stick and move around surfaces easily. Really they need to make an open world game that plays like Ninja Gaiden to make Spiderman actually feel interesting.

"A hero must always fight..."  WTF? 
Isn't part of being a hero knowing when NOT to fight? I'm pretty sure my Shepard in Mass Effect is a hero, and anytime I had a chance to talk things out and avoid killing I took. What if some guy was badmouthing Spider-man? Would Peter Parker go up and kick his ass or would he grin and bear it until that person was inevitably put in danger and then rescue them, thus proving his heroism and altruistic nature all at once? I guess I'm harping on a small line from the trailer but really everything about this game looks pretty shitty to me.

I should probably play Web of Shadows first even if this isn't a sequel. I heard that game wasn't terrible and I like me some Spiderman.

Feels super tight-quarters... not very Spiderman.
