EPIC! I'm really excited about a new POP with some Sands of Time in it again!
 
I think it's kinda far fetched, but could this game be just a HD remake of the original game? Even so, I would STILL play that.

So it's Sands of Time with a Jake Gylenhall model for the Prince. This does not interest me at all, they should have just stuck with the story and art style from the last PoP game.

The teaser trailer doesn't do much to excite me. But so far I've enjoyed all the PoP games that Ubisoft put out, so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

I didn't know everyone was divided on these two separate storylines in the PoP franchise.  Personally, I liked the 2008 game much more then the 3 Sands of Time games, but I'm willing to give this one a shot.  Although, if they pull the shit they did with Warrior Within, then fuck this game.

seems like this game is tying in with the movies' design aesthetic, as evident with the princes new look and the block lettering in the subtitle. i hope disney doesn't force ubisoft to tone down some of the action or darker themes in the game.

I loved the Sands of Time trilogy, but that storyline is complete.  Really, The Two Thrones wrapped up that narrative so well that anything more can be nothing but a cash-in for the movie. 
 
A continuation of the 2008 Prince of Persia is far more interesting to me, since that storyline went in a very surprising direction at the end of the game.  Some people thought of it as a let-down, but I thought Ubisoft showed some real guts going that way.

Wow, this looks terrible. Absolutely terrible. The CGI looks cartoony, the VO was boring as shit (although the first 2008 POP trailer had a terrible VO also), and the trailer shows nothing new. 
 
This looks like an awful step back. And I hope I'm wrong, because POP: SOT was amazing, and the new one was awesome IMO. 
 
God this put a bad taste in my mouth.

On another note: Okay Ubisoft it was funny in the beginning now please just reboot the franchise for the 3rd time. Please? We'll have a clean slate, the prince can be all emo like you want as long as it's not this franchise.  No?! Well fine then see if care. *walks off in a huff*
