It is but you also have to do it while they have the phone pulled out otherwise it won't drop. I had that happen with Kruger in Paris once during a mission. Subdued him too late after he put his phone away and the phone was nowhere to be seen. ;(

If they decide to make a series where they revisit past Hitman games they really, really need a third to provide support indications, mainly just remembering the map and aiding them to move through the environment. Or it could easily turn into and endless remake of the Graniny Gorki "incident" from MGScanlon 3. Just saying because both Dan and Brad have shown to have some difficulties into orienting themveselves while playing games in front of a camera, and that could unfortunately provide multiple moments of pointless frustration with games like these

You sure about this? I've killed Helmut after he hangs up and puts the phone in his pocket. It would be way too frustrating if you had to time it. I think the phone in both cases should drop whether they are on the phone or not. Look in this exact video and you'll see the phone fly off the cliff right after the guy gets knocked out.

I think it's probably in the execution. Vinny relishes the chaos - even if he misses mechanics or doesn't realize something, he manages to make it work. He remains affable and funny even if the face of failure, while Brad gets (or seems to get) frustrated by his failure and that frustration gets transferred to the viewer.

And really, maybe it's just confirmation bias, but I feel like Vinny picks up on game mechanics way quicker that some of the other GB crew. I think it might be the type of gamers they are, but for example, Brad seems to miss a lot of the little cues Hitman is giving him about when a disguise is safe or not etc.

Vinny likes playing games that require thorough exploration and methodical approaches, making him more likely to figure the games out. I think I remember him mentioning that (like me) he always checks the option menu before starting a game, which demonstrates a certain type personality.

It's something I wish all the GB crew would do more often. They should worry less about making the video interesting/keeping it constantly moving or whatever and check the options/controls and read the texts so that they know what is going on. I think they too often rush into the games and then end up missing whole mechanics or getting stuck somewhere

What a great episode! These murder playgrounds are perfectly suited to the Bran team.

But how it might be used will always be part of the idea. We don't live in a world with perfect humans, we live in a world with irrational and selfish people. Dan's commented on enough things like this with a similar response and he comes across as frustratingly naive and willingly ignorant. But I guess that's part of his charm.

Anyways, I love Hitman and any more of it that shows up on this site is a huge plus.

I was very surprised that Dan didn't latch on to that opportunity in the cave involving the air filter. He even said something like, "I wonder if there's a way to just kill all these guys" right after the game spells it out in the subtitled conversation that they overheard. At first I thought he was hinting to Brad, trying to steer him toward the air filter, but nothing came of it.

If a Blood Money Endurance Run was done, I'd like it to be one of the ERs done in parallel with two teams, so you can see different methods. Have an east coast team and a west coast team. Has GB east/west ever collaborated that closely on something before? They seem to do their own things.

This was funny but very frustrating to watch. It seems like they never grasped the mechanics around compromised disguises or how people of they same type get suspicious of you. It seems they never realized it tells you when your trespassing either. I laughed out loud during this a few times but it was mostly hard to watch.
