The Story Of Dead Space Extraction

I'm not really a fan of on-rails shooters, generally because they don't have any story. I might give this a rental due to what they've said about character development.

Graphics are good for a wii game

I love the original to death, but I must say that the facial expressions in this Wii game far surpass those on the 360/PS3.
 
I dunno if that's a knock against the original or a pat on that back to Extraction. Either way, I think this is shaping up to be pretty good, as far as rail shooters go.

Looks good, but I am a little wary about all the talk of franchise and universe, I just don't think there's enough substance to expand upon.

Great! Yet another rail shooter for the Wii! Why try to make an FPS? I mean, that'd take effort! I'm sick and tired of these shameless cash grabs that manifest themselves into pseudo rail shooters. If you really wanna appeal to the "hardcore" audience of the Wii, make something with substance.  
 
I have no problem with real rail shooters; the fact that you must use gun sights and have to take the time to sight in the enemy can be quiet exciting. But all this shit for the Wii are basically guided FPS's with little difficulty. Casually aiming from the hip with a remote isn't very immersive.

I'm really looking forward to this. Should be a lot of fun, more Dead Space is never a bad thing.

Could be good, but I dislike planned scares immensely. I really prefer psychological mind games to any scares, such as those in the original Dead Space. Hopefully everything else will turn out well though.

I'm still not convinced to buy this and I am an actual fan of the genre.

If I had more money to spare, I would buy a Wii almost just for this...

Game's looking pretty awesome, the voice acting sounded really poor to me though, still I suppose thats to be expected from an on-rails shooter.

I want this to be good even though I don't ever plan on owning a Wii. I don't want the franchise of DS to be tainted by a less than stellar experience. And for the record shaky cam is lame.

I wonder if the characters in this are going to survive? You know, get to an escape pod or something. Ships have escape pods, right? Or heck, they might even have a space shuttle. 
 
It'd be nice to have some continuity with characters if this is going to be a franchise.

Looks cool! DS was a great game.

I can't believe they only stuck this on the Wii. I do not have one, nor will I ever. The thought of playing a prequel to a game such as Dead Space on a pos Wii is horrid. I wanted this: now I can't have it. GUH.

In all honesty, the game looks like it could be good... I just hate how they're talking about it as if it's an incredibly innovative game.
 
It's an on-rails shooter, plain and simple!  I understand about having good marketing, but when you have to talk about generic concepts in an innovative way, it doesn't look too good.
 
The story is probobly the saving grace of this game, and the only reason I'd possibly decide to play through it.

So basically a game with great potential is going to be ruined by being on the Wii only...Dead Space was focused on atmosphere (with great visuals) and I don't see how this ugly thing is going to be the least bit creepy.

I think it looks good, to bad I don't have a wii, I haven't seen the movie yet, but I've seen the graphic novel that I downloaded off of xbl. I loved the first game, and I think it would've been my favorite game EVER if it wasn't so scary (I know pathetic right). To be honest I hate scary games, I don't like being scared that much, I can handle a two hour movie but a ten hour long game is just to much, so in the end I didn't beat dead space out of that uncomfortable feeling in my gut, but now I may go back and play it again, but probably not.

Hmmmm....I am not sure.....I'll think about this one.
