Fun John Leguizamo story!

Years ago he was giving a talk at my university for some reason (I have no idea why...). Saw him walking around while I was grabbing food before another late night in the lab. Being the cool person I am, I avoided freaking out over him while giving him directions to the conference room where he was giving his talk. Afterwards he gives the most shitty ass "Do you know who I am" imaginable. I obviously say "Yeah. You're Luigi" which is not as assholish as you would think since I kind of genuinely enjoy that dumpster fire of a movie.

He did NOT take that well and got REALLY pissy and angry before walking off in a huff.

So yeah... if you ever see Johnny Leguizamo... probably don't tell him how much you liked the Super Mario Brothers movie. At least as of a decade or so ago he was not proud of that stage in his career.

It is a travesty that Steal My Sunshine isn't on the list...yet.

It's hard not to laugh at the folks trying to go to bat for Savage Garden. Sorry, but honestly? The guys were nicer to those songs than they deserved. Anyway, I can't wait for part 2. It better include "Informer" and "Cotton-Eye Joe"

I'm pretty familiar with 90's music, but somehow completely missed Savage Garden. Hearing that group for the very first time in 2020 and they deserve all the shit the crew are giving them, if not more.

I can't walk past an Abercrombie & Fitch store in a mall without think of that god awful LFO song so yeah that's the right choice so far.

No mid to late 90s pop representation needs to be remedied. I was a teenage boy that went through the whole 'ugh these songs are dumb' rigamarole but have grown to like a lot of it.
