This 007 Legends Trailer Shows What it's Like to be On Her Majesty's Secret Service

Oh boy, i hope he punches some dudes.

Is it me or was this trailer running at 60 FPS or something? It seemed really oddly smooth compared to other trailers. Also, Goldeneye 007 for Wii was cool, so I'd be willing to give this a go.

I know Bond Games are supposed to be action, but i did not see anything appealing in this trailer at all. Looks like some COD single player run of the mill

I know its kind of impossible, but an HD re-jiggering of Everything or Nothing would be excellent.

So excited for Skyfall!! I love Bond movies and their games.

The Legends concept is neat, but judging by the gameplay I'd rather play 007: Nightfire again.

0:10 in the video, I can't believe they left a shot that shows the seams in their world tiles so clearly in the trailer. Sloppy.

Now, OHMSS is by no means a very good movie, but turning it into a sodding CoD level is still a fucking travesty.

@budgietheii: i enjoyed OHMSS... then again i also thought The Living Daylights was a pretty good bond movie too. but not License to Kill...

Wait, I get replacing George Lazenby with Daniel Craig, but why replace Telly Savalas with Donald Pleasence?

Yeah, I remember when all that stuff happened in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Wait, I don't remember any of that.

I was going to quibble with you, but then looking at the list of Roger Moore's seven James Bond films I realized you actually give them too much credit. OHMSS is better than all the Moore Bonds except for 'The Spy Who Loved Me.'

Campaign CoD is perfect for action movie licenses, and I can't fathom why it took them so long to marry the two. Honestly, throw anything on it, make it a 4-5 hour balls to wall action spectacle and done. I already play CoD campaigns for the set pieces, might aswell wrap some likeable action movie motifs around them.

Is this some kind of budget title, or web game, or something? It doesn't look... current.

I love James Bond, and this looks like crap.

i'm going to say yes, only due to the fact that it says six missions that doesn't sound like a full retail game to me.

So now they've announced OHMSS and... Moonraker. Guys, I don't think this is boding very well.

At first I was like "boy, this looks pretty bad". But then I realized that it's pretty much just the sequel to Goldeneye Wii and I'm in! Take my money! Make these kinda-on-the-crummy-side-of-the-spectrum Bond movies have more explosions.

I think For Your Eyes Only is pretty damn good, too. So that puts it closer to 70% for me.

This trailer would be 80% less exciting if it weren't for the theme music that they didn't come up with.

So... this had an age gate because?.....

No, no, no, fucking no. I wanted the original actors to be in each of their film roles. I guess that was expecting too much.

Forget this game.

While not quite as relevant as you may think at first, as Christian Bale said about action in film, though I take it as in any product, there needs to be a story to back it up, and all this product seems to be doing is giving the audience/player some stages with action through memorable moments in the Bond series, and I certainly wouldn't care for that. Overall it's not going to be that exciting, nor very qualitative by the looks of it. It's sad, because I think as a big fan of James Bond, they've put out some good Bond games in the past, and this just looks like a shame.

This will confuse archaeologists a million years from now.

I feel like this is the worst period in Bond videogame history. Activision has put out some unredeemable stuff - how Goldeneye on the Wii managed to somehow be worse than Rogue Agent was a quite astonishing achievement.

Predictions for this game: quick time events, the most exciting action sequences being non-interactive (and unskippable on further playthroughs), grey corridors, mobile phone scanning.

Looks ok to me. Seeing as I skipped goldeneye reloaded because it was a port, we'll see, but I may get this.

so, i've never read the books, are the stories that fleming wrote actually good? aside from moonraker.

@QKT: Moonraker is probably the best book, and completely unlike the film adaptation. There's no mid-air tram fistfight, motorised gondola chases or trips to outer space. The first third of the book is dedicated to Bond trying to beat a guy who cheats at cards. The whole story has a really bittersweet ending, too. What happens in the film? Do they have sex in a spaceship or something?

I'm a huge Bond fan. I bought the whole collection on VHS, again on DVD, and now Bluray. I should be so excited about this but..... man... does this ever look rushed out the door. And this is an Activision game? Guys do this justice, and you could have Call of Duty like success. Don't put your Z-team on it and shove it out the door like every other movie tieiin game.

Ah maybe... But it doesn't really look straight enough to be seam line. My guess is more for crappy low res console textures.
