High Hell looks a whole lot like Wrack. Don't like how they seem to handle hitscan enemies though, really wish more current developers would take notice of how the old Id Software shooters handled enemies like that - the way they used sound cues to make the player aware that enemies knew where they were and having an aiming (or charging) animation that was roughly a second long giving you time to try to dodge the shot.

Boy the default Monster Hunter outfit looks great. Idk why they kept choosing that ugly alternate costume.

It's a real shame that Capcom left out a lot of fan favorites from the MvC series to appeal to the movie audiences. They pissed off their fans and movie audiences don't give a shit about the game. They'll just play one of the dozen different Marvel phone games.

At least Monster Hunter World is looking absolutely amazing.

Not meant as a criticism, but why do the cameras require a refocus every stream? Are they often swapped around?

Same, I really wish they made a sequel or something. They way they left off that game bummed me out.

Am excited to see them try Overgrowth. It's super weird but the free form melee is killer.

Lugaru HD and Overgrowth are different games. And Overgrowth was released last week.

I enjoyed XIII as my first PC LAN experience. I don't remember anything about the game except for the artstyle but I remember it being fun.

Ben/Jeff makes for one super chill stream.

Thank god ya'll realized before the end that Overgrowth is all about jumping, though, I was screaming internally for a little while.

Immediately after this stream I went home and played Overgrowth and remembered how awesome it is. It's a little simple but still fucking awesome. The arena official mod is a ton of mindless rabbit killing fun. Glad you guys gave it a shot and saw how awesome it is.

How did Ben know that I like video games?

Ben did make Rivals of Aether seem pretty interesting. I like the idea of how people want Smash type games to play but never liked playing Smash that way since it's clear the developers aren't interested in making that kind of game.

Would love to see more Overgrowth versus matches with different weapons/stages. That could get crazy.

Marvel... Geez. I'm the dumb ass who bought it on sheer principle. Then last night bought Sigma, somewhat spitefully, because I've wanted him since MvC1.

I just don't see why anyone would buy this thing besides as a tourrney training tool. And I think it plays great! Capcom is crazy. There are so many different versions of fighting games getting it "right", in a variety of drastically different ways, they could just copy from too if they don't know what to do themselves. It's baffling. Never mind the 75 bucks of DLC they just dropped...

Also visuals aside KoF14 is super great.

Damn you @jeff for teasing TIE Fighter and then not playing it. Then again, it's that shitty Windows 95 version with the bad textures, so I suppose if he had played it I would just be mad about that instead.

Quick thing to note about Rivals of Aether, the Xbox One version is perpetually behind the PC version so if you're thinking of buying it maybe go PC. The new characters won't be on Xbox until sometime in the future. November at the earliest, but they're not guaranteeing that.

Watching Jeff play that game made me realize playing Destiny has probably ruined my aiming ability in other shooters.

It's a bummer that people (well, Ben and Jeff) seem so down on KoF XIV because it doesn't look great. The game's still extremely solid and plays exactly like a KoF game should play.

And even if the 3D models are super generic I still think it looks better than the repulsive SFV style??

I like that alt outfit for Monster Hunter. I haven't actually seen it in a Monster Hunter game, but I'm familiar with it from some... uh... other works.
