This is pretty amazing. Valve just remains awesome even despite hiccups like DOTA and not releasing friggin Half Life.

okay, after watching this video, this is fu crazy.

Valve is the only company left that I feel guilty giving my money too. They have earned it beyond any other.

This is fucking insane.

This is a great idea, although they make the art of animation appear to be a lot quicker and easier than it actually is. I commend Valve for giving this access to a much wider audience though, more power to them.

As someone who's had to bother with keyframe animations, graphs, motion clips, rendering, compositing, editing and rendering some more using about five completely different workflows across a couple of different software suites just to get a shoddy concept animation done... let's just say this makes me insanely jealous...

I think their masterplan is to release enough tools so they can come out and say: "Stop asking me to do HL3 do it yourselves!"

Valve I love you and this is some impressive stuff. Talented individuals will no doubt make masterpieces using this. But not to be demanding but I'd also really love a new Half-Life game. That would make my world complete.
