Vitas Varnas is a recurring character found in different games and is based on or in reference to the Australian actor Vitas Varnas.

Appearances:

• FTL: Faster Than Light - Is one of the default names given to a crew member.
• Legends of Callasia - Introduced in The Stoneborne Dlc, he is a playable dwarf hero of the Stoneborne faction.
• Mages of Mystralia - A carpenter found in Greyleaf and husband of Rachel Marie, he also serves in the game as a quest giver.
• Thaumistry: In Charm's Way - An inventor from Sydney who had invented a machine that turns objects invisible.

Miscellaneous appearances:

• Sir, You Are Being Hunted -His name appears on a gravestone found in any of the church yards.
• Shovel Knight - He makes a cameo as a portrait in the Hall of Champions.
• Paradigm - Vitas appears as an entry in the Head Mart computer terminal where it says he had preserved his head so he could continue his support for the show Game Grumps as well as continue his career as an actor. In real-life, Vitas himself worked on the game voicing the character Dimmer Switch Prodigy Child and as a play tester.
