Vizard Identities

Love Aikawa

He is the guy that has the afro and wears a greenish blue jogging suit. Before being turned into a Vizard he used to be the Captain of the 7th Division. He is usually more laid back than others such as Shinji or Hiyori.

Shinji Hirako

He is the person that first approaches Ichigo about the Vizards. His hollow mask is one of the few that we have actually seen in the manga or the anime and it resembles the mask of an ancient Egyptian pharaoh. He seems to have a close relationship with his fellow Vizard Hiyori that dates back to the time when he was still in Soul Society. Before being turned into a Vizard he used to be the Captain of the 5th Division.

Mashiro Kuna

She is usually depicted as a somewhat ditzy girl and has a short temper often throwing fits for no apparent reason.  She usually wears a white bodysuit with goggles along the top of her head. Before being turned into a Vizard she used to be the Lieutenant of the 9th Division.

Kensei Muguruma

Kensei is usually shown wearing a basketball jersy with cargo pants and combat boots. He is usually a more serious character unlike the crazy personalities of his fellow Vizards. It is revealed in the manga that he seemed to have a early encounter with the current Lieutenant of the 9th division Shuhei Hisagi. When Hisagi was young Kensei saved him and became a hero of sorts. Hisagi looked up to Kensei so much that when he grew up he got a tattoo of the number 69 on his cheek almost identical to the one that Kensei has on his stomach. Before being turned into a Vizard he used to be the Captain of the 9th Division.

Kensei is the only Vizard that we have seen release his zampaktou. Its name is Tachikaze and is realeased with the command "blow it away". In its shikai state Tachikaze takes on the form of a small combat knife. It has the ability to make things explode and Kensei can fire spiritual energy from the blade.

Rōjūrō Otoribashi aka Rose

 Rose is the man with the wavy blond hair and a frilly shirt. Very little has been revealed about him except for the fact that before being turned into a Vizard he used to be the Captain of the 3rd Division.

Hiyori Sarugaki

Hiyori is the tiny blond girl that usually is seen following Shinji around. She apparently is very violent and has been seen hitting Shinji multiple times if he messes up. Although she is so abusive to Shinji it seems that they have a close relationship that dates back to when they were both in Soul Society. Hiyori's Hollow mask is one of the few that we have seen. It resembles a normal hollow's mask except for the horn that sticks out of the forehead. Before being turned into a Vizard she used to be the Lieutenant of the 12th Division.

Hachigen Ushōda

Hachi is the physically largest Vizard. He is shown to have many barrier type abilities that he says are very similar to Orihime's. Before being turned into a Vizard he used to be the lieutenant of the Kido Corps.

Lisa Yadōmaru

Lisa is the girl with the glasses and the long braided hair. She seemed to be very popular in her Division while she was in Soul Society often reading to the younger members. Before being turned into a Vizard she used to be the Lieutenant of the 8th Division.
