They first appeared in Kirby's Dreamland and are most notable for being powerless most of the time. They usually stay out of Kirbys way and don't grant any unique powers when consumed. There are a few alternate versions of Waddle Dees including: Parasol Waddle Dees, Fluff Waddle Dees, and Spear Waddle Dees. Waddle Dees have also appeared as playable characters in a few Kirby games.Waddle Dee is also portrayed as an ally of Kirby in some of the Kirby games.
