    Overview

    Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a sci-fi fantasy co-operative first-person shooter developed and published digitally by Fatshark for the PC on November 30, 2022. It later received a release for the Xbox Series X|S on October 4, 2023 and for the PlayStation 5 on December 3, 2024.

    Based on the studio's Warhammer: Vermintide series of high-fantasy games, Darktide brings the four-player co-operative action to the grimdark universe of Warhammer 40,000, putting players in control of a group of Acolytes of the Inquisition as they try to purge a "darktide" of Chaos in the industrial Hive City of Tertium.

    It later received a board game adaptation in 2024.
