Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II

Game » consists of 6 releases. Released Feb 19, 2009

The sequel to Relic's critically-acclaimed Dawn of War does away with economizing and base building in favor of a more involved combat system with RPG elements.

    This game is pretty rad

I'll tell you what, DoW2 blows Company of Heroes out of the water. The gameplay feels much more streamlined and arcadey, it almost feels more like I'm playing an action RPG than an RTS. I love the loot drops and nonlinear campaign so far. My only complaint is that the campaign really throws you into the thick of things without explaining things like retreating and suppression fully. This gives the first few missions a tough learning curve. I have yet to die though in sergeant mode, and I'm about 5 hours in. That's not to say the game's too easy though - it's challenge enough to try and five-star the missions.

Good thing I bought it during last weekend's steam sale!
