    Character » appears in 14 games

    As the main antagonist of the US version of Super Mario Bros. 2, Wart is the final boss in the game. He was also featured in Doki Doki Panic as Mamu, on which the Super Mario Bros. 2 is based.

    Who wants to see him in Galaxy 2?

    I would. He is a very underused character (1 game, right), and could make an awesome 3D model. Bowser and Wart could both capture Peach. You could even use this to push a co-op mode of sorts in the game, 1 plays as Mario, the other Luigi. Two villains, two heroes, eh?

    Even without the co op component, I think Wart should come back.

    Whoa, time warp.
     
    To stay on topic, he wasn't in Galaxy 2, but it would be nice to see Wart get used in a game again.  Even if it's in a parody capacity in a Paper Mario or Mario & Luigi game.

    Zombie thread, but an interesting idea. Outside of spin off titles, the Mario 2 crew doesn't get a whole lot of play. Would be neat to see some Shyguys and Snifits and whatnot in a 'real' Mario game.

    Wart is part of DokiDoki Panic, not Mario. They should make a new DokiDoki Panic game, that would be awesome.

    I would have liked Tatanga to turn up, considering the games are all about travelling around in space it would have made sense, though I doubt most people at Nintendo even remember him by this point.

    Look man. Mario annexed DokiDoki Panic. DokiDoki isn't a thing anymore. They absorbed what they wanted and destroyed the rest. Its just like with the Mayans. Exactly like with the Mayans. They're identical stories.

    I think that they might have included a Tatanga sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.  Other than that, the last reference to Tatanga that I know of was in Daisy's character profile in Mario Superstar Baseball.  But yeah, it's kind of disappointing that Mario's B-tier villains don't get more time to shine.
