I don't usually do this (and I'm sorry if this is already posted but I don't see it anywhere), but I did the kickstarter for Wasteland 2 to get the physical box and what not.

I probably won't open it yet (I can get a key elsewhere so I don't have too and would rather not), but I wanted to share some pictures of the box because I think this box is really nice looking- and I guess because we don't see this a lot anymore.

Sorry it's a bit bright. I think it's a cool box, though. Compared to some of the other kickstarter boxes I've gotten this is definitely the best so far.

If anyone is getting one and is going to open it, feel free to share that. I know there's a bunch of cool stuff from the different backer tiers, but again I kind of want to leave mine closed for my collection since I don't need to open it.

That looks really cool. I would love to see what the manual looks like. It's truly heartbreaking to see the manual die a slow death along with the boxes they are usually contained in. Speaking of, Is there any word on a boxed version I can pick up at retail or even on Amazon?

@baka_shinji17: I don't know if it will get a bigger retail release. If it does well maybe, but they had to go through Deep Silver for the kickstarter "Big Box" release and Deep Silver was awful about it. A lot of people have complained because it took so long for the box to be shipped and Deep Silver didn't opt in for online tracking.

I have not seen InXile mention a retail release, though, so it may not happen. I don't think they plan too.

Edit: I agree about the manual. I would love to see it too, but I really don't want to open this box. It would be great if someone who is going to open it shows the stuff inside off.
