I spent some time doing online races and I noticed most of the time, despite finishing in the first place, other players are rewarded with more notoriety points. Sometimes two or three times more than the first place. What gives? Anyone has an idea what determines the reward? Is it actually screwing with other players? Or the oposite - racing clean?

I have a feeling that hacking other people gets you point, or causing someone to crash though I don't know. I haven't been able to get into an online race yet :|

@quipido: I think the amount you get is based on your ranking compared to people you beat. Kinda like chess or tennis rankings.
