Overview

Gameloft is a leading international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones, as well as casual games for consoles and downloadable services. It was founded in 1999 by the Guillemot Brothers of Ubisoft. Gameloft has recently overtaken EA Mobile (formerly JAMDAT Mobile) to become the #1 maker of mobile phone games. However what's even more impressive is how diverse Gameloft's catalog has become. Gameloft has produced games across many platform's including JAVA based cell phones, BREW, Symbian, iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, Android, Windows Mobile (now Windows Phone), Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network.

Gameloft's has a distribution network in over 80 countries.

They produce several mobile games with Ubisoft franchises, like Assassin's Creed, Brothers in Arms, Rayman, and James Cameron's Avatar.

Gameloft is an independent sister company of Ubisoft Entertainment.
