Overview
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the ESA opted to hold E3 2021 as a digital-only event. As such, they temporarily changed "E3" to mean the Electronic Entertainment Experience, rather than Expo. E3 2021's digital events were hosted by Greg Miller, Jacki Jing, and Alex "Goldenboy" Mendez.
The ESA has stated they plan on returning E3 to a physical event in 2022.
