Kana: Little Sister is a visual novel game based around the life of a sickly girl named Kana. You play the role of her older brother, Takamichi Todo (Taka for short), as he acts as Kana's pillar of support through the good times and the bad. Kana suffers from chronic renal insufficency, which makes her extremely weak and forces her to stay in the hospital most of the time. The game's primary focus is how this life-threatening illness effects Kana and how Taka's relationship with her evolves over time.
Taka focuses almost all of his attention on his dying sister, but does find some time for a girlfriend.
