    Overview

    Mutan Zone was released alongside another game called Sol Negro in late 1988 by Spanish company, Opera Soft. It was released for several home computer platforms.

    Gameplay

    The game has only two parts, which players can choose to play right from the starting menu. Anything that the player touch kills you instantly, and unless you've memorized every enemy pattern and obstacle, usually attacks come too fast to react in time.

    Part 1 starts the player off in the cockpit of a ship where they must shoot incoming enemy ships. Each kill affords one life. Eventually, after a certain amount of time, players enter a side-scrolling platforming section.

    Part 2 is a side-scroller where players are on a hoverbike. Once players reach the end, they beat the game.
