ZPC, also known as Zero Population Count, is a surreal-fantasy first-person shooter developed by Zombie and published by GT Interactive for Windows PC and Macintosh computers in 1996.
Featuring a stylized pulp comic book art style from Aidan Hughes (Person) (who was then known for his album covers for the industrial band KMFDM and for the magazine BRUTE!) and a soundtrack from Paul and Roland Barker (Person) (who were both known for their involvement in the industrial metal band Ministry), ZPC is set in a dystopian future ruled by a fascist dictatorship known as the Black Brethren. Players are put in the role of Arman (Character), the "Warrior Messiah" and the long-lost heir to a royal line of God-Kings, as he awakens from cryogenic sleep seeking vengeance against the evil regime.
Like Prime Target and Damage Incorporated (Game), the game made use of the same game engine as Bungie's Marathon 2: Durandal.
