Overview
Tetris Splash is a falling-block puzzle game developed by Tetris Online, Inc. and published digitally by Microsoft Game Studios for the Xbox 360 (Platform) (as a Xbox Live Arcade title) on October 3, 2007.
The first game in the long-running Tetris (Franchise) series to be produced by Tetris Online, Inc. (co-founded by original Tetris creator Alexey Pajitnov (Person)), Tetris Splash features the standard Tetris gameplay (in 15-level Marathon or 40-Line modes) with multiplayer support (up to four players offline and six players online, the latter including ranked and team-based options).
The game features an aquatic theme, with the dynamic background resembling an aquarium that can be personalized (with additional fish and decor added as downlaodable content). The background can also be used as a "screensaver".
