    Overview

Android Assault: The Revenge of Bari-Arm, known simply as Bari-Arm in Japan, is a horizontal shoot 'em up developed for and published on the Sega CD by Human Entertainment. It was localized and released in North America by a company named Big Fun Games: their only known release.

The story concerns humanity's efforts to colonize nearby planets when they run into a militaristic nation called Zias, controlled by a massive supercomputer named GEO. With their revolutionary spacecraft Bari-Arm, the humans are forced to defeat GEO before any more of their colonies are destroyed.

The Bari-Arm can equip one of four weapon types, each of which follows a three-stage upgrade path whenever power-ups are collected. Upon reaching the third and highest upgrade, the Bari-Arm itself also transforms from its standard ship form into its mecha form for greater firepower. The mecha form can also withstand a single hit without being destroyed (it will, however, transform back into the ship form).
