Overview
Fritz Chess, known in Europe as Fritz by ChessBase, is a digital chess game developed by Freedom Factory Studios (Company) and published by Deep Silver (Company) for the PlayStation 3 (Platform), Wii (Platform), and Nintendo DS (Platform) on July 2009, with the Wii and DS versions released in both North America and Europe and the PS3 version released only in Europe.
A console and handheld adaptation of the Fritz (Franchise) series of chess games. The PS3 and Wii versions has an "Adventure Chess" campaign mode with a medieval theme, with each opponent having unique constraints.
It also received a mobile version for iOS devices on March 27, 2009, developed by PlayWay (Company) and published by Gammick Entertainment (Company).
