    Overview

Zero-4 Champ is a drag racing game for the PC Engine and the first game in the Zero-4 Champ series. It saw sequels for the PC Engine CD, Super Famicom, PlayStation and Saturn.

The game is split between a single race mode, either against a CPU opponent or another human player, and a story mode which features cutscenes and a plot to follow that connected its races and story beats with an adventure game interface. The game gives special attention to the various car parts the player can invest in to improve their performance.
