Rocketbirds 2: Evolution is being developed by Ratloop Asia and is the sequel to Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken.

This game was first revealed under the extras menu of Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chickenon the Vita. Several pieces of concept art were shown in a slideshow including owls described as "transdimentional space owls" and new vehicles. The game was originally scheduled to be released in 2014 but has been delayed multiple times until it was released in April 2016 for PS4 and Vita. After the fall of Albatropolis in the first game, General Puff and the Budgie Commandos have set up residence in an old hotel and are getting themselves organized. In the game's 1 - 4 player Rescue Mode players will be able to assemble a strike force and go on rescue missions behind enemy lines. The characters, weapons and costumes will be fully customizable in this mode. The game will also feature a full single player campaign once again staring Hardboiled Chicken trying to stop iL Putzki. Like the first game, the music will be done by New World Revolution.
