Development
The name 'Bravely Second' was trademarked as early as September 2013. The title takes its name from a gameplay mechanic within the sequel, similar to the way Bravely Default took it's name from the in-game mechanics of braving and defaulting. The game will once again be story-driven instead of exploration-driven. It has not been announced for release in any regions outside of Japan, but it is expected to be released in North America and Europe due to the success of Bravely Default in those regions.
Setting
The game is set in the same universe as Bravely Default, differentiating the series from it's spiritual predecessor Final Fantasy. The game takes place several years after the events of the first game and features a new main protagonist named Magnolia Arch who explores the region of Luxendarc. It has been confirmed that the characters Tiz and Agnés from the original game will return.
Collector's Editions
Like Bravely Default, Bravely Second received a Collector's Edition release. A standard Collector's Edition was released in America while a deluxe version that included a figurine was made available only in Europe.

Regional Differences
As with the last game, there have been a number of changes made to various outfits and character ages. The largest difference comes from the changing of the Tomahawk job into a Cowboy-like job called "Hawkeye" with outfit and character personalities being radically changed to fit this new job.
