    Overview

    The Polar Express is an action-adventure platform game based on the 2004 animation film of the same name, which in turn was based on a picture book. In the film, the story focuses on an unnamed boy (referred to in the credits as "Hero Boy"), who takes a magical train to the North Pole on Christmas Eve along with several other children.

    The game's plot differs slightly from the film, revolving around a marionette puppet Ebenezer Scrooge who prevents children from believing in Santa Claus so he can steal their tickets and get them kicked off the train.
