The debut game from Question Games, made up of BioShock-series veterans is a first person title blending involved narrative elements with complex gameplay systems. It is a game about making games as players roam an unfinished game world as the "hero" while the developers are shown as giant eyes arguing.
Overview
The Magic Circle from developer Question Games is a first-person puzzle game where the player takes the role of a game tester in an unfinished game. The bulk of the story centers around the games designers as they attempt to nail down the games direction and finish a demo before the big "E4 conference." The developers unknowingly give you the ability to alter the code of in-game objects which leads to the main gameplay mechanic: hacking. By changing the behaviors of creatures and objects in the world, players can solve puzzles in order to progress.
