    Overview

    Dragon Quest Heroes is an action RPG developed by Omega Force and published by Square Enix for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.

    As the game shares the same developer, the game features several similarities to the Dynasty Warriors series, most notably its large scale battles. Heroes differs from the Warriors series however by putting a broad emphasis on summoning monsters. Once a monster is defeated in battle they can be called up by the players to defend portions of the map, this is necessary in some areas leading many to argue that the game is, at least partly, a tower defense game, or at least contains significant TD elements.
