Overview
Dragon's Wake is a game telling the story of a young dragon in a 2D-world. The story of the game changes slightly as the player is forced to make decisions while growing up and gaining abilities such as flying further or breathing fire.
Story
Shortly after being hatched, the young dragon finds out that his mother has been slain by a fearless black knight who also seeks out for him. As he manages to escape, he meets some friendly lizardmen which help the young dragon to stay healthy and to grow up. They soon discover another unhatched dragon egg and secure it, when suddenly they're getting attacked by goblins. While the young dragon seeks out to destroy their village, the black knight is doing the same with the lizardmen. On the dragon's return, he has to escape once again, accompagnied by a few lizardmen who were able to survive and secure the other dragon egg.
From there, the story varies dependant on the player's decisions. In the end however, the black knight awaits the young dragon for a final showdown.
