Overview
Defunct is an action racing game that features a robotic protagonist passing through racecourse-like levels at high speeds, avoiding obstacles along the way. It was made available on Steam in 2016.
The robot, who is attempting to return to the cargo spaceship he fell out of before it takes off and leaves the planet's orbit, must quickly cross a series of desolate and dangerous landscapes with the use of his Gravitize engine: this creates a sphere of gravity around the robot that greatly increases his downward speed but quickly causes him to lose momentum while moving uphill. In addition, he can collect "Enerjuice" which also keeps his speed up.
